"Sunship Earth" presents a stimulating and entertaining view of our relationship with the earth and its life. There are two parts (with a short intermission) in this ninety minute talk: "You are a piece of the sun" and "You are not your head."

"We want to help people understand the environmental crises we face, but we want to help them enjoy the journey at the same time. For this is the greatest trip of them all --as we travel together with all the other wild and weird and wonderful creatures on this small, self-contained vessel of life --on our journey among the stars."

This presentation deals with peeling away the disguises we have used to cover up the essential components of life here. Components like sunlight, the energy of life; water, the liquid of life; soil, the placenta of life; and air, the breath of life. It also addresses the essential nature of our existence as an organism and fellow passenger on this "sunship" in space.

Steve's magical talk has touched the lives of many thousands of people around the world. As an ecologist in England put it: "Thank for reminding me of why I got into my field in the beginning."
